Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Aafke Stam and Paulsen Ambrosius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okonski falls off balance throwing a combination
and Barboza counters with a nice leg kick.

Barboza shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Barboza showed some decent athleticism there.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Okonski is looking to escape.
Barboza is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Barboza wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Okonski uses the opportunity to regain full guard.
Barboza wanted to stand there but Okonski had control of the position.

Barboza gets to his feet. Okonski looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Okonski will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Okonski is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Barboza dodges the punch combination from Okonski.
Okonski is breathing heavily.

Barboza moves into the clinch.

Barboza breaks from the clinch.

Okonski has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Barboza.
Rafal Okonski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Barboza moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Nice combo by Barboza! Oh, that's hurt him - Okonski falls to the canvas and Barboza follows him into side control.

Okonski is rocked!

It looks like Rafal Okonski has been cut.

Barboza decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Oh Okonski is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Barboza gets a double leg takedown into Okonski's guard.
Barboza wanted to stand there but Okonski had control of the position.
Okonski seems to have got his legs back now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Barboza decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Barboza throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Okonski stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Barboza follows into mount!

Barboza is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!

Barboza takes the fight into the clinch.

Barboza pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Okonski stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Barboza.
Rafal Okonski is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Barboza throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Okonski.
Barboza throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Barboza jabs at Okonski's body.
Okonski takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
A head kick from Barboza lands but Okonski takes it in his stride.

Okonski tries to keep at a distance but Barboza has taken the fight into the clinch.

Barboza breaks the clinch.
Crunch! Barboza slams his shin into Okonski's torso.
Barboza throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Okonski crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
