Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Janos Prohaska!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 2, fighting out of Hilo, Cha Cha!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prohaska tried to score with a low kick but Cha checks it.
Prohaska throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Prohaska just misses with a punch to the body.
Janos Prohaska seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Prohaska moves out of range as Cha strikes.
Prohaska looks to score with a jab to the body but Cha is just out of range.
Cha avoids the body shot from Prohaska.
Cha throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Prohaska pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Cha misses with a hook.
Prohaska misses with a body kick.
Prohaska throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Prohaska lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cha circles away quickly and effectively.
Prohaska stuffs the takedown.

Cha shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Prohaska tries to land a sweep but no joy.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Prohaska is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Cha wants to control from the top but Prohaska keeps moving.
Cha slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Cha Cha hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Prohaska looks to land a combination but Cha avoids it well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Prohaska throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Cha sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Prohaska closes the distance and clinches up with Cha, looking for a takedown. Prohaska pushes Cha against the cage but Cha circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Prohaska pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Cha closes this distance looking for a takedown but Prohaska circles away.

Prohaska scores a takedown into full mount!
Cha keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Prohaska throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Cha tries to lock up and control but Prohaska gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Prohaska throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Cha because Prohaska loaded up on that one.
Cha is working to get back to half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cha wants to control but Prohaska is having none of it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Prohaska controlling his opponent.
Cha is wriggling around trying to escape.
Prohaska lands with some strikes.
Prohaska throwing strikes here but Cha is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Cha is desperately trying to improve his position but Prohaska has a good base and remains in mount.
Prohaska connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Prohaska controlling the pace for now.
Prohaska lands a big shot there that rocks Cha but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Cha is bucking up trying to escape but Prohaska cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cha is in a horrible position here. Prohaska smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Prohaska prevents Cha from getting the reversal.
Prohaska throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Cha because Prohaska loaded up on that one.
Prohaska is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Cha can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Cha avoids a series of strikes thrown by Prohaska.
Prohaska lands a heavy elbow.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Prohaska cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cha is still in real trouble! Can Prohaska finish him?
Prohaska drops a big elbow. That's hurt Cha! More shots from Prohaska and the ref steps in! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Janos Prohaska!
Janos Prohaska really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Popeye’s Spinach - 159 + 158 Proof Supps logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
