Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Damien Quincy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyler Harris will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tyler Harris!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Dean Styles and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Harris, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Harris throws a nice looking combination but Quincy bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Quincy closes the distance and clinches.

Harris breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Quincy shoots in for a takedown but Harris shows good takedown defense.
Harris lands a two punch combo.
Quincy fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Harris misses with a jab, cross combination.
Harris misses with a jab, cross combination.
Harris will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Harris throws a right hand that Quincy ducks under and follows up with a left that Quincy also avoids with ease.
A combination from Quincy does no damage.
Quincy closes this distance looking for a takedown but Harris circles away.

Harris misses with the combination.
Harris fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Harris throws a right and a left that Quincy avoids nicely.
Harris looks to land a combination but Quincy avoids it well.
Harris throws a series of punches but Quincy avoids them all with ease.
Tyler Harris is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Quincy showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Harris.
Quincy shoots for a takedown but Harris saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Quincy shoots in looking for a takedown. Harris tries to sprawl out of it but Quincy keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Harris manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Harris throws a combination that misses

and Quincy counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Harris's guard now.

Quincy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Harris swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Harris working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Quincy.
Quincy postures up in Harris's guard and throws a big left but Harris blocks it.
Quincy thows a big elbow that misses.
Quincy throwing strikes from guard but Harris blocks nicely.
Quincy tries to free his leg and advance position but Harris is retaining full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Harris misses with a wild combination.
Tyler Harris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Quincy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Harris tries to avoid it but Quincy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Harris to the ground. Harris escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Harris throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Quincy counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Quincy throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Harris works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Quincy won't allow Harris to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Quincy throws a big right hand that misses.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Harris wants to get back to his feet but Quincy is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A punch combination from Harris misses.
Quincy is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Harris.

Quincy looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Harris!
Harris avoids a series of strikes thrown by Quincy.
Quincy wants to take Harris's back but he can't do it this time.

Quincy with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Damien Quincy dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Quincy tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Quincy shoots for a takedown but Harris saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
No luck for Quincy with that takedown attempt.

Quincy clinches with his opponent.
Harris misses with a hook from the clinch.

Quincy pulls guard effortlessly.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Quincy is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Quincy is looking for a triangle but Harris pushes his legs off easily.
Harris is breathing heavily.

Quincy pushes a forearm under Harris's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Harris is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
