With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Kevin Handelman!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Andrew Berry and Chris Edwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Handelman moves out of range of the strikes.
Handelman throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jab, jab by Handelman - just one landing.

It looks like Lasi Kukko has been cut.

Kukko moves into the clinch.
Handelman can't find room to land a body shot as Kukko controls the action.
Kukko is trying to pull guard but Handelman turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Handelman's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Kukko stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Handelman is fighting off a takedown attempt but Kukko is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Handelman to the mat. Handelman regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Kukko stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Handelman swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Kukko changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Handelman looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Kukko lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Handelman throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Handelman takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Kukko throws out a loose jab but Handelman uses good head movement to avoid it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The referee is keeping an eye on Kukko - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

We're going to have a standup here because Lasi Kukko wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
