Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Riku Reipas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dmitry Nugzarov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nugzarov has chosen Hollywood Undead-Dove & Grenade as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reipas misses with a takedown attempt
and Nugzarov counters with a stiff right hand.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Riku Reipas. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Nugzarov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Nugzarov's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Nugzarov duly obliges.

Reipas fails to pull guard.
Nugzarov throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Nugzarov slowing the pace effectively.

Nugzarov breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Nugzarov tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Reipas shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Nugzarov counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Nugzarov is looking to stand up but Reipas isn't so interested in that idea.
Reipas trying to control the position from guard on top but Nugzarov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Reipas wants to pass the guard but Nugzarov is keeping the position.

Reipas won't allow Nugzarov to get back to his feet.
Reipas works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Reipas is trying to control the action in half guard but Nugzarov is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Reipas uses his free foot to push down on Nugzarov's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Nugzarov.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Reipas swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
