Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 1, fighting out of London, Nick Diaz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Terry Tibbs! The judges for this bout are James Glass, William Gold and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tibbs throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Diaz uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Tibbs. Tibbs scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Diaz throws a leg kick but Tibbs checks it. Diaz closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Diaz lands in his opponent's guard. Diaz is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Diaz pushes down on Tibbs's leg and manages to get into half guard. Tibbs really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Diaz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Diaz keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Tibbs pushes Diaz off, looking to escape but Diaz dives into side control. He's locked up a kimura now - that was fast! He's cranking on it and Tibbs is forced to tap! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Nick Diaz! After the big win, Nick Diaz made sure to do all the important stuff like thanking his sponsors The Nutritionists (O.R.G) »Q155 only $49!« and telling the interviewer how much he loves him.
