Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dylan Mcgrath (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Royce Grace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grace has chosen Go To Sleep - Eminem as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dylan Mcgrath!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Royce Grace!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grace lands a nice looking body shot.
A nice combination there by Mcgrath.
Grace fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Grace keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Mcgrath.
Mcgrath steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Grace.
Grace takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Royce Grace seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Grace shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Grace showed some decent athleticism there.
Grace throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Grace throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Grace wants to free his trapped foot but Mcgrath is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Grace is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mcgrath wants to improve his position but Grace is controlling well.
Mcgrath is not content to let Grace control the position.
Grace might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Mcgrath kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Grace is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Mcgrath defends it well.
Mcgrath is trying to stand back up but Grace is controlling him

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Grace wants to pass the guard but Mcgrath is defending well.
Grace has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Grace can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Mcgrath is looking to escape.
Grace raining down shots from the mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Grace throwing strikes here but Mcgrath is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Grace throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Mcgrath wants to control but Grace is having none of it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Grace wants to control the pace but Mcgrath is squirming around nicely.
Grace moves to the back.
Grace trying to control momentarily.

Grace working for a choke but Mcgrath is defending well.

Grace goes for a risky armbar from back mount and it's not paid off. Mcgrath escapes and is now in half guard on top.
Grace wants to get back to full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Grace is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Mcgrath tries to stand but can't do so whilst Grace controls his leg.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Grace regains full guard. Nicely done.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Grace wants to sweep but no luck.
Grace manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Royce Grace dominated that round.
That's time! Mcgrath's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Grace shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Mcgrath defends it nicely.
Grace throws a lazy uppercut
and Mcgrath counters with a straight right hand.
Grace shoots in but Mcgrath avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Grace ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Grace cracks Mcgrath with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Grace jabs at Mcgrath's body.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Grace.
Dylan Mcgrath has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Royce Grace.
Grace lands a right hook to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Grace fails with the takedown

and Mcgrath moves into the clinch.
Mcgrath wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Mcgrath is trying to break free.

Grace has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Mcgrath uses from the top position.
Grace controls Mcgrath momentarily but Mcgrath frees himself.

Mcgrath decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Grace, up you get!
Mcgrath rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Grace moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Mcgrath stuffs the takedown attempt from Grace. Grace gets slowly back to his feet.
Mcgrath looks to score with a jab to the body but Grace is just out of range.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Grace has his takedown stuffed
and Mcgrath counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Grace wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Grace shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Mcgrath counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Mcgrath escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Grace misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Grace catches Mcgrath with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Mcgrath fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Mcgrath moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Dylan Mcgrath is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Grace with a poor takedown
and Mcgrath counters with a right hand to the body.
Nice straight punches there by Mcgrath. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Mcgrath.
Grace misses the body punch
and Mcgrath scores with a counter punch that sends Grace to the canvas! Mcgrath smells blood - he's punishing Grace with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Grace has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dylan Mcgrath!
