Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nike Dallas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samuel Doestevsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doestevsky comes into a darkened arena with his song building. New Divide kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doestevsky misses with a series of wild punches.

Dallas is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Doestevsky's half guard.
Dallas prevents Doestevsky from standing back up.
Dallas wants to pass to mount but Doestevsky is defending the position.
Doestevsky looks like he's trying to stand up.

Dallas is working for a kimura but Doestevsky is defending it quite comfortably.

Doestevsky is refusing to be controlled, as Dallas sits in half guard.
Dallas is really struggling to control Doestevsky but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Doestevsky wants to get back to his feet.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Dallas is just content to waste time from the top position. Doestevsky takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Doestevsky manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Doestevsky has taken the fight to the clinch.

Doestevsky pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Doestevsky stalks Dallas and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Dallas's face. Dallas staggers backwards, shaken.
Dallas dodges the punch combination from Doestevsky.
Dallas takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Dallas circles away from the clinch attempt.
Samuel Doestevsky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Doestevsky closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.

Dallas breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dallas sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Doestevsky misses with a two punch combination.
Dallas keeps the fight on the outside.

Doestevsky rushes Dallas and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Dallas digs a right hand into Doestevsky's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Doestevsky's gas tank.
Dallas changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Doestevsky fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Dallas is breathing heavily.

Doestevsky pushes Dallas up against the ropes in a clinch.

Doestevsky connects with a high kick.

It looks like Nike Dallas has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nice sprawl there from Doestevsky as Dallas shoots in.
Doestevsky fails in his attempt to clinch.
Dallas takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Doestevsky drops Dallas with a left and a right! Oh, Dallas is hurt - Doestevsky dives into side control looking to finish!

Dallas is rocked!

Doestevsky is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dallas knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Oh Dallas is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Doestevsky wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dallas, who protects the arm well.
Doestevsky has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Dallas!
Dallas seems to have got his legs back now.

Doestevsky goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Dallas is on top in guard.
Doestevsky is looking to stand up but Dallas isn't so interested in that idea.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Samuel Doestevsky dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Nike Dallas's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Doestevsky fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Dallas, pushing him back against the ropes.
Dallas jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Doestevsky walks away with a smile on his face. Dallas gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Doestevsky plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Samuel Doestevsky seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Doestevsky thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Dallas if he has to take too many more of those.
Doestevsky scores with a spinning back kick!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Doestevsky gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Doestevsky breaks the clinch.
Doestevsky lands with a big left! Dallas is wobbled badly! Doestevsky comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Dallas to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
