And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Alexandre Firmino and Thiago Cunha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gracie scores a takedown into full mount!

Gracie moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Badridge has worked his arm free - good work by Badridge!

Gracie tries for a kimura but Badridge is defending well.

Badridge is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Gracie is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Badridge has escaped the position, nice work there.

Gracie is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Gracie gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Gracie gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Gracie apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Gracie gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Badridge trying to control but Gracie is working from the bottom.
Gracie not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Badridge knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gracie on the ground.

We're going to have a standup here because Barry Badridge wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Badridge is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Badridge tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gracie paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Badridge moves in looking to clinch but Gracie pushes him off.

Badridge fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Gracie to the ground. Badridge is now in Gracie's guard.

Gracie shoots in looking for a takedown. Badridge tries to sprawl out of it but Gracie keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Badridge manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
