The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garris moves in looking to clinch but Welsh pushes him off.
Garris doesn't manage to clinch there - Welsh circles away.
Garris on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Garris doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Welsh holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Garris keeps control of Welsh as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Welsh lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Welsh missing with knees to the body.
Welsh scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Garris misses with a hook to the ribs.

Garris is breathing heavily.
Welsh works on Garris's body with a couple of short punches.
Welsh goes for a takedown attempt but Garris pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Welsh catches Garris with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Garris forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
