Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Taavi Liisteri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Qing Kong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liisteri comes to the cage accompanied by Solid Base - I like it. Kong has chosen THE RISING SUN as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
20 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Taavi Liisteri!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
12 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Qing Kong!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kong misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Liisteri.
Kong throws a leg kick but Liisteri sees it coming and moves out of range.
Liisteri shoots in looking for a takedown but Kong manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Liisteri's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Liisteri fails with a takedown attempt.
Liisteri shoots for a takedown but Kong saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Taavi Liisteri. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Liisteri throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kong's waist but Kong gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Liisteri off to one side.
Liisteri shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Kong makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Kong lands with a thumping leg kick.
Liisteri shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kong defends it nicely.
Kong lands a jab to the nose.
Kong explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Liisteri is looking to clinch.

Liisteri jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A right-left combo lands from Kong.
Qing Kong is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kong pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Liisteri shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kong but Kong pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kong fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Liisteri on the side of the head.
Kong throws a series of punches but Liisteri avoids them all with ease.
Liisteri takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Liisteri shoots in for a double leg but Kong sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Kong throws a body kick that misses.
Liisteri fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kong avoids it really well and circles away.
Liisteri is breathing heavily.
Kong throws a front kick that sends Liisteri stumbling back into the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Liisteri takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Kong lands a big head kick that sends Liisteri tumbling to the mat! Kong takes a step backwards and waves Liisteri back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Liisteri is rocked!
It looks like Taavi Liisteri has been cut.
Liisteri takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Oh Liisteri is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kong buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Liisteri on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Liisteri on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kong. Kong obviously looking to wear him down.
Liisteri seems to have got his legs back now.
Kong lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Liisteri at a distance.
Liisteri takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
A combination from Kong does no damage.
Liisteri with a poor takedown
and Kong counters with a nice kick to the body.
Nice uppercut there from Kong.
Liisteri gets a takedown into half guard.
Kong moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kong is on top in guard.
Kong showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Liisteri looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Liisteri keeping moving, preventing Kong from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kong advances to half guard.
Liisteri actively working from the bottom here.
Kong with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Liisteri wants to control but Kong is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Kong really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Liisteri. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Kong content to control rather than advance.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Liisteri is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kong pulls his head out easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Qing Kong dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Taavi Liisteri's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Nice jab there from Kong.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Liisteri is defended easily by Kong.
Qing Kong seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Kong leaves Liisteri with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Kong lands a head kick!
Kong throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Nice takedown defense from Kong. No joy for Liisteri on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Taavi Liisteri. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Kong connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Liisteri shoots in but Kong avoids the takedown attempt easily.

and Kong counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Liisteri sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
No luck for Liisteri with that takedown attempt.
Kong connects with a right hand. Liisteri shakes it off.
Kong feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Liisteri's calf.
Kong lands a brutal head kick. Liisteri looks out on his feet and Kong throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick and Punches). Qing Kong!
Qing Kong took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'How is that for foot in ass!'.
