The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holmbom misses with a head kick.
Stanly misses with a wild combination.
A looping hook to the body misses from Stanly. Holmbom does a little dance to reset his feet.
Stanly fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Holmbom avoids it really well and circles away.
Stanly loads up on a big right hand but Holmbom slips the punch.

Stanly throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Holmbom tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Stanly is in Holmbom's guard.
Holmbom is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Stanly is looking to advance position but Holmbom has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Stanly throws a right hand that Holmbom ducks under and follows up with a left that Holmbom also avoids with ease.

Stanly clinches.
Stanly changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Holmbom fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Holmbom has Stanly up against the cage in a clinch.

Stanly throws a hook to the side of Holmbom's head but Holmbom sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Holmbom tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Stanly counters with a one-two to the body.

Stanly lands a right hand that snaps the head of Holmbom backwards.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Holmbom wants to clinch up but Stanly keeps it at a distance.

Stanly dives in and scores a takedown into Holmbom's guard.
Stanly throws an elbow that misses. Holmbom uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Stanly's guard. Nice move by Holmbom!

Stanly has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Holmbom should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Stanly has tightened it up now! Holmbom should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
