Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Johnjo Chipchase! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Tyson! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Glass and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chipchase shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Tyson defends it nicely. Tyson cracks Chipchase with a right hand to the side of the head. Chipchase looks to score with a jab to the body but Tyson is just out of range. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Tyson fails to land with a series of punches.
Chipchase misses with a head kick.
Tyson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Tyson throws a head kick but Chipchase moves out of range.
Chipchase keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Tyson tries to sprawl but Chipchase drives through with a takedown into half guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Tyson is trying to get back to full guard. Chipchase working the head and body with strikes. Chipchase is pressing down on Tyson's thigh, looking to free his foot. Tyson is holding on for now. Tyson actively working from the bottom here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tyson on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Chipchase working over Tyson with some ground and pound. Tyson looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Chipchase prevents Tyson from improving his position. Chipchase is nestled in close to Tyson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Tyson is looking for a sweep. Chipchase is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Chipchase seems to be working for a kimura but Tyson defends the submission attempt. Nice strikes from Chipchase there. Tyson manages to get to full guard.
Chipchase is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Chipchase working some strikes from top position. Chipchase content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Chipchase trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Chipchase has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Tyson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Chipchase manages to get himself to full guard.

Tyson looks gassed! Chipchase lands a couple of digs. Tyson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Chipchase doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Chipchase manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Chipchase lands a couple of decent looking shots. Chipchase pushing down on Tyson's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Chipchase looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Chipchase lands with a punch from half guard. Ground and pound from Chipchase. Chipchase working Tyson over with strikes. Tyson tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Chipchase scoring with strikes to the body and head. Chipchase lands a big shot. That's three minutes gone in the round. Tyson pushes Chipchase off looking to stand but Chipchase dives back in and keeps control.
Chipchase winds up and cracks Tyson with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Chipchase takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Chipchase lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Chipchase looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Tyson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Chipchase takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Chipchase seems to be working for a kimura but Tyson defends the submission attempt. Chipchase wants to control but Tyson is keeping him busy. Chipchase is really struggling to control Tyson but he's trying to hold on to the position. Chipchase lands with a punch from half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Chipchase is controlling the pace.

Chipchase passes to side control. Chipchase advances to full mount. Chipchase raining down hammerfists from mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Chipchase lands a big shot there that rocks Tyson but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Chipchase working Tyson over with strikes here. Chipchase is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Tyson to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Tyson shrugs it off. Chipchase landing punches. Tyson is trying to escape the mount.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Tyson trying desperately to get to his feet.
Chipchase with shots to the head and body - Tyson looks very uncomfortable down there. Chipchase lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Tyson hang on? And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johnjo Chipchase dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Chipchase drives through with a takedown into guard. Chipchase working some strikes from top position. Tyson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Chipchase scoring with some ground and pound. Chipchase trying to control the position from guard on top but Tyson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Chipchase keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Tyson's head. Chipchase scoring with punches to the head and body. Tyson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Chipchase defends it easily. Chipchase scoring with some ground and pound. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hammerfist, elbow! yells Chipchase's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Chipchase avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Chipchase content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Chipchase lands a couple of decent looking shots. Tyson is breathing heavily. Chipchase cracks Tyson with a solid left hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chipchase with a nice head shot there. Chipchase is working Tyson over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Chipchase stands and throws Tyson's legs to the side, diving into side control. Chipchase lands an elbow. Chipchase lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Chipchase advances nicely into full mount. Chipchase raining down hammerfists from mount. Chipchase postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Tyson in real trouble here! The ref calls for Tyson to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
