The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Anderson is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Rai avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Anderson lands a nice hook to Rai's body. Rai takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Rai slips under a jab from Anderson.
Rai is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Anderson bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Rai swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Rai swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Rai closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Rai lands in his opponent's guard.
Anderson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Anderson lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Rai!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Rai is looking to get to half guard.
Anderson lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Rai sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rai wants to control but Anderson is keeping busy and won't allow it.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Anderson connects with a nice short shot to Rai's temple.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Anderson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Rai looking to hit a scissor sweep but Anderson is one step ahead there.

A close round but Allan Anderson will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Anderson clobbers Rai with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Anderson drops his hands momentarily and Rai takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Anderson pounces like a tiger and cracks Rai with a vicious hook! Rai is down but not out! Anderson follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
