Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eric Worrell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mick Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eric Worrell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mick Jones!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Russell Pearce and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Worrell does no damage.
No luck for Jones with that takedown attempt.
Jones shoots in for a takedown but Worrell shows good takedown defense.

Worrell shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Jones can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Worrell controls the pace.

Jones has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Worrell can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Jones manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Worrell manages to get himself to full guard.

Jones got a little sloppy there for a moment and Worrell has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jones has managed to get both his arms back between Worrell's legs - danger averted.
Jones has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Worrell is proving hard to escape from.

Jones postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Jones tries to free his leg and advance position but Worrell is retaining full guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Jones takes the fight into the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Jones creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Worrell tightens his grip and picks Jones up, before dumping him to the ground. Jones manages to land in guard.
Worrell not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Worrell knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jones on the ground.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Worrell is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Jones moves into the clinch successfully.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Worrell tries to circle away but Jones has him pinned against the cage.

Jones drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Worrell gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Eric Worrell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mick Jones.

Jones has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Worrell uses from the top position.

Worrell stands and steps away. Jones gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Jones leaves Worrell with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Jones keeps the fight on the outside.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jones misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Jones ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Worrell moves away.

and Worrell counters with a shoot takedown. Jones fights it but they end up in guard.

Worrell is sitting in close to Jones's body. Jones has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Worrell is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Worrell is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Jones.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Mick Jones!
Mick Jones really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Inner Beast Nutrition logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
