The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Arlovski darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
No joy there for Michaels, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Michaels tries to keep at a distance but Arlovski has taken the fight into the clinch.
Arlovski lands a body punch.
Arlovski really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Michaels got a little sloppy there for a moment and Arlovski has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Michaels has managed to get both his arms back between Arlovski's legs - danger averted.

Michaels breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Michaels creates some distance and fires off a vicious elbow that drops Arlovski! He pounces and finishes the fight with more strikes! Nice KO for Michaels.

A very excited looking Brock Michaels rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
