PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ronaldo Pitbull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Tuppett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pitbull comes to the cage accompanied by Parado na Esquina. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Felipe Paraventi and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pitbull throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Tuppett was covering up waiting for the punch and Pitbull finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Tuppett pulls Pitbull in close to prevent any damage.
Pitbull trying to control the position from guard on top but Tuppett is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Tuppett is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Pitbull is controlling him.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Ronaldo Pitbull wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Pitbull scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Tuppett is not content to let Pitbull control the position.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Pitbull wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Tuppett, who protects the arm well.

Tuppett is letting Pitbull control him for a moment.

and Pitbull counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Pitbull wants to stand but Tuppett has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's time! Pitbull's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Tuppett tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Pitbull wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Pitbull looks to land a body kick but Tuppett moved away.
Pitbull throws a sloppy head kick and Tuppett moves out of range easily.

Pitbull closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
