The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deans throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Erik Boose seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Deans moves forwards but Boose connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Deans tries for a takedown but Boose sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
