The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie thows a body shot but no joy.
Gracie connects with a looping right hand.

Nobuxo closes the distance and pushes Gracie back into the cage.
Nobuxo tries for a takedown. No joy.

Gracie manages to break the clinch.

Gracie tries to keep at a distance but Nobuxo has taken the fight into the clinch.
Gracie is trying to push Nobuxo away but Nobuxo has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Nobuxo wants a takedown.
Gracie wants to break the clinch but can't.
Gracie is trying to maintain a safe position but Nobuxo gets an underhook and turns Gracie into the cage.
Nobuxo drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Gracie gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Gracie breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Gracie lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Nobuxo circles away quickly and effectively.
Gracie throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Nobuxo sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Gracie avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Gracie uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Nobuxo moves to clinch but Gracie breaks away
and Gracie counters with a left and a right that stings Nobuxo.
Gracie looks to land a combination but Nobuxo avoids it well.
Gracie misses with an uppercut

and Nobuxo holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Nobuxo wants a takedown.
Nobuxo is looking to take this one to the mat.

Gracie jumps into guard, dragging Nobuxo to the mat.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Nobuxo content to stall in guard here.

Gracie is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Nobuxo is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Gracie working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Gracie won't let Nobuxo get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Nobuxo is in a horrible position here. Gracie smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

It looks like Facada Nobuxo has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gracie won't let Nobuxo get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Gracie with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Gracie is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Nobuxo is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Nobuxo flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Gracie anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Nobuxo and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Gracie slips an arm under Nobuxo chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Gracie has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Gracie is squeezing on Nobuxo like an anaconda would it's prey. Nobuxo fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
