The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Paulsen Ambrosius and Patrick Alders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kopite has Klint up against the cage in a clinch.

Klint gets control of Kopite's arms and successfully pulls guard. Klint will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Kopite with a flurry of punches that miss.
Kopite wants to control from the top but Klint keeps moving.
Kopite lands a couple of digs.
Kopite stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Klint swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Kopite postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Klint is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Kopite, into his guard.
Kopite looking to hit a scissor sweep but Klint is one step ahead there.

Klint loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Kopite is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Klint is looking to work some ground and pound but Kopite has wrist control.

We're going to have a standup here because Olav Klint wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Kopite misses with a series of wild punches.
Klint tries to clinch but Kopite moves out of range.

Klint drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Kopite is working an open guard so Klint takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Kopite fails to land with a series of punches.
Kopite keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Kopite pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Klint clinches.

Klint breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kopite fails to land with a series of punches.
Klint looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kopite is fending him off so far but Klint persists. Nope, Kopite circles away and we're back to standing.
Kopite throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kopite thumps Klint with a low kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kopite blocks a head kick by Klint.
Horrible takedown by Klint or perhaps it was just good defense by Kopite which made him look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Olav Klint. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kopite throws a hook but Klint avoids it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
