Davis comes to the cage accompanied by Deftones - Beware. Dawson has chosen Lambda Lambda Lambda Song as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Davis wants it to stay on the feet.
Davis connects with a right hand. Dawson shakes it off.
It looks like Dudley Dawson has been cut.
Davis throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Dawson was covering up waiting for the punch and Davis finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Dawson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Davis defends well.
Dawson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Davis slips nicely into half guard.
Davis takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Davis wants to work for an arm triangle but Dawson is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Davis maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Dawson could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Davis has cracked it and Dawson is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Davis!
