Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bull Terrier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Ras (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Terrier comes into the arena with Closer - Nine Inch Nales blaring out of the sound system. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bull Terrier!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Josh Ras!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Summer Carpenter and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ras misses with a body shot.
Ras fails with the takedown.
Ras throws an off balance right hand
and Terrier cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Terrier throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ras looks for a takedown but Terrier sprawls well.
Ras shoots in looking for a takedown but Terrier manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ras's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Bull Terrier has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Josh Ras.
Ras ducks under a wild hook from Terrier.
Ras scores with a body shot.

Ras shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Ras stands up over Terrier, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Terrier keeping full guard, as Ras tries to pass.
Terrier wants to stand but Ras is controlling the position.
Ras missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Terrier is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ras lands a couple of digs.

Terrier is looking to stand up but Ras isn't so interested in that idea.

Terrier is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Terrier lands a left hand.
Ras lands a right hand that snaps the head of Terrier backwards.

Ras breaks the clinch.
Terrier doesn't manage to clinch there - Ras circles away.
Ras on the wrong end of a nice hook.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ras takes a swing at Terrier's ribcage but misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A jab lands there for Ras.
Ras moves away from the strike by Terrier.
Terrier pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Ras back to the cage. Terrier follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
The crowd cheers as Terrier lands an impressive looking overhand right. Ras doesn't seem phased though.

Ras scores with a takedown into Terrier's guard.
Ras is in close to Terrier's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Terrier manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Terrier moves away from the strike by Ras.
Terrier blocks a jab.
A swing and a miss from Ras.
Ras walks into a jab.
Ras shoots for a takedown but Terrier saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Ras closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.


Ras is rocked!
Terrier drops Ras with a huge uppercut! Ras drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Terrier is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bull Terrier!
