The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quadi takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
McHughes stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and McHughes wants it to stay on the feet.
Salin Quadi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McHughes walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Quadi checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Quadi takes one to the side of the head.
McHughes scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
McHughes cracks the inside of Quadi's front leg.
McHughes lands with a right hand.

and McHughes cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Oh Quadi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

McHughes cracks Quadi with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Quadi falls to his knees and McHughes doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
