The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Page swats away the attempt to clinch by Thomas.
Thomas scores with a decent looking hook.

Page moves forwards but Thomas connects with a nice, crisp jab.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Page accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Page stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Thomas swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Page avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Thomas throws a nice looking combination but Page bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Page changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Thomas looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
