Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Domenic Maddox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hank Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maddox comes into the arena with Frontines by Diabolic ft. Immortal Technique blaring out of the sound system. Hank Hill is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Domenic Maddox!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 16 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hank Hill!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maddox wants to clinch up but Hill keeps it at a distance.
Maddox connects with a jab.
Hill moves away from the strike by Maddox.
Hill shoots for a takedown but Maddox saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Maddox fails to land with a series of punches.
Hill misses with a wild body shot.
Maddox throws a low kick but it's checked well by Hill.
A decent looking cross lands there for Maddox.
A jab from Maddox does it's job there.
Maddox throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Maddox feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Hill's calf.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hill shoots in for a takedown but Maddox shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Maddox closes the distance and clinches.

Hill tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Maddox smiles and moves away.
Domenic Maddox has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hank Hill.

Hill closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hill lands in his opponent's guard.
Maddox wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Hill tries to free his leg and advance position but Maddox is retaining full guard.

Hill drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hill jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Hill drops back looking for a leg! Maddox is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Maddox manages to kick Hill off! Hill jumps back into Maddox's guard.

Maddox pulls Hill in to control the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Maddox knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hill on the ground.
Maddox has his hands clasped together around Hill's back. He's all about the action.
Hill is looking to advance position but Maddox won't allow it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Maddox works his way to full guard. Good work.

Maddox lands a really nice looking cross but Hill seems unphased.
Hill throws a lazy uppercut
and Maddox counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Hill needs to keep his hands up - Maddox had a free shot at his head there.
Hill circles away from the clinch attempt.
Hill throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

and Maddox counters with a left to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Maddox misses with an attempted mid kick.
Hill throws a hook but Maddox blocks it.
Hill shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Maddox but Maddox pushes him off and we're back to square one.

It looks like Hank Hill has been cut.
Domenic Maddox is winning the standup battle so far.
Hill throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Maddox swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Maddox lands a big uppercut and Hill crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Hill looks OK. Maddox waves Hill back to his feet!
Hill is still on wobbly legs! Can Maddox finish him?
Maddox connects with a nice cross there... Hill is looking wobbly and Maddox recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Hill to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Maddox jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
