Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Young (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Dawson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Young comes to the cage accompanied by Head Strong. Dawson has chosen Perfect Insanity as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Dawson wants to clinch up but Young keeps it at a distance.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Young tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Young has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Young works to advance to full mount. Dawson defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

That was a close round but I would say that Max Young will probably get the nod.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dawson can do anything to dispel that myth.
Young sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Dawson's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
