Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hiroyuki Miyasako (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cole Tessier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Miyasako moves into the clinch.
Miyasako slowing the pace effectively.

Tessier's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Miyasako gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Tessier goes for a takedown attempt but Miyasako pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Tessier drives through with a takedown into guard.
Miyasako has his hands on Tessier's head, controlling the position.

Tessier stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Miyasako swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Tessier is pushing down on Miyasako's leg trying to pass to half guard. Miyasako is fighting to maintain full guard but Tessier has managed to sneak the leg through.

Tessier is trying to work for a kimura but Miyasako is defending well.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tessier accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Tessier drops back looking for a leg! Miyasako is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Miyasako manages to kick Tessier off! Tessier jumps back into Miyasako's guard.
Tessier wants to pass the guard but Miyasako is keeping the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tessier is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Miyasako has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tessier is working away from the top position though.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Tessier is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Miyasako is just riding it out for now. Tessier eventually gives up the hold.

Tessier wants to pass to mount but Miyasako is defending the position.
Tessier throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Tessier tries for a takedown but Miyasako sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Tessier takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Tessier shoots for a double leg takedown but Miyasako sprawls well. He's pushed Tessier's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Miyasako thuds a left hand into Tessier's body.
Miyasako feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Tessiers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Miyasako forces Tessier back against the cage and clinches.
Miyasako lands an elbow that stopped Tessier in his tracks for a moment.
Miyasako lands an elbow inside that Tessier shrugs off.
Miyasako lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Tessier is looking to take this one to the mat.
Miyasako makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Miyasako lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Tessier backwards.
Miyasako lands an elbow that stopped Tessier in his tracks for a moment.

Miyasako lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

A frustrated look appears on Tessier's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Miyasako lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Tessier or not.
Tessier seems to have recovered his senses.

Miyasako lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Tessier backwards.
Tessier tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Miyasako smiles and moves away.
Miyasako tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tessier swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Miyasako lands a big head kick that sends Tessier tumbling to the mat! Miyasako takes a step backwards and waves Tessier back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tessier has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Miyasako.
Tessier chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Miyasako can pounce on him.
Miyasako with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Miyasako jabs Tessier to the body, keeping him at a distance.
A solid leg kick lands there for Miyasako.

Tessier's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Tessier is trying to pull guard but Miyasako has him pressed against the cage.
Miyasako lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Tessier takes an elbow to the forehead.
A nice right hand lands inside from Miyasako.

Tessier gets control of Miyasako's arms and successfully pulls guard. Tessier will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Good leg kick by Miyasako there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Miyasako lands a big head kick that sends Tessier to the canvas! Miyasako follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
