And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Kenichi Hosakawa and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hatoru moves in looking to clinch but Rodrigues pushes him off.
Hatoru is looking to clinch but Rodrigues is avoiding it.
Rodrigues shoots in and drives through. Hatoru sprawls well.
Hatoru attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Hatoru shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Rodrigues wants to hold on but Hatoru pushes him away.

Hatoru moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Rodrigues has worked his arm free - good work by Rodrigues!
Hatoru just content to control the position.
Hatoru is putting a hurting on Rodrigues here, landing some big shots from side control.

Rodrigues is rocked!
Hatoru looks up at the clock and then as Rodrigues takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Hatoru smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Rodrigues is still in real trouble! Can Hatoru finish him?
Hatoru scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Rodrigues is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Hatoru can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
