The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rockert shoots in for a takedown but Hewson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Hewson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hewson wants it to stay on the feet.
Rockert shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hewson as he avoids it easily.

Hewson feints and then cracks Rockert's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Rockert down.
Hewson lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Rockert closes the distance and clinches up with Hewson, looking for a takedown. Rockert pushes Hewson against the cage but Hewson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Hewson connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Hewson lands a leg kick that knocks Rockert off balance momentarily.

Hewson digs a good body shot into Rockert's ribs.
Hewson scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Hewson lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Rockert out cold! Rockert is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
