The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab lands there for Franklin.
Eggman moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Franklin leaves Eggman with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Eggman swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Franklin counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Eggman looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Franklin closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Franklin jabs Eggman right on the nose. Eggman blinks but takes it well.
Franklin lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Eggman circles away quickly and effectively.
Franklin lunges at Eggman with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Eggman's hand.
Sloppy strikes from Franklin. Those never looked like landing.
Eggman checks a low kick from Franklin.
Franklin scores with a shot to the body.
Franklin tests Eggman's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Eggman fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Urethra Franklin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Patrick Eggman.
Franklin lands a jab to Eggman's midsection.
Eggman looks gassed!

Franklin tries to bum rush Eggman with a series of wild strikes but Eggman uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Franklin works over Eggman's head and body with a nice combination.

It looks like Patrick Eggman has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Franklin stalks Eggman and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Eggman's face. Eggman staggers backwards, shaken.

Eggman is rocked!
Franklin lands with a shot to the body.

Franklin dips to his left and cracks Eggman with an uppercut!
Franklin works the jab nicely.

Franklin drops Eggman with a beautiful combination! Eggman stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Franklin is looking for the KO!
Eggman is still on wobbly legs! Can Franklin finish him?
Franklin scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Franklin lands with a right that hurts Eggman. Eggman looks to clinch but Franklin throws a short knee that drops Eggman. This one is all over!
