Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lukasz Kozyra!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Igor Vladimar!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Radbod Blank and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Vladimar misses.
Vladimar swings for the body but Kozyra moves out of range.
Vladimar takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Vladimar throws a nice looking combination but Kozyra bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kozyra, right into the meat.
Vladimar misses with a hook.

Kozyra pushes Vladimar up against the cage in a clinch.
Vladimar has had enough of the clinch but Kozyra keeps him there for the moment.
Kozyra lands a nice knee to the body.
Kozyra leaning his opponent against the cage.
Kozyra prevents Vladimar from breaking the clinch.
Kozyra just leaning against Vladimar, taking a breather.
A frustrated look appears on Vladimar's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Vladimar being controlled against the cage.
Vladimar wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Vladimar is looking to break free of the clinch but Kozyra has double underhooks.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Vladimar is trying to force a seperation but Kozyra has the dominant position.
A bit of stalling here from Kozyra.
Vladimar working hard to break the clinch.
Vladimar takes an elbow to the temple.
Kozyra lands an elbow inside.
Vladimar wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kozyra has him pressed against the cage.
Vladimar wants to break the clinch but can't.
Vladimar is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Kozyra lands an elbow that stopped Vladimar in his tracks for a moment.
Kozyra scores a nice knee to the body.
Vladimar avoiding damage as Kozyra throws knees to the body.

Kozyra wants the takedown. Vladimar is fighting it off but Kozyra persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Vladimar's guard against the cage.
Kozyra really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Kozyra loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Kozyra slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kozyra forces his way into half guard.
Kozyra passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Vladimar!

Kozyra is working for a guillotine from mount but Vladimar frees his head quite easily.
Kozyra throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kozyra thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Kozyra looking to control and managing it successfully.
Poor strikes thrown by Kozyra there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Kozyra has hold of Vladimar's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Vladimar manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Kozyra throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Kozyra working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Vladimar turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Kozyra off and cradles Vladimar's limp body as Kozyra celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Lukasz Kozyra!
A very excited looking Lukasz Kozyra made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
