And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Nikolay Grigoriev!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Arvi Lind.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silakka is looking to land body kicks.
Silakka fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Grigoriev.
Grigoriev lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Grigoriev keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Silakka.
Silakka throws a leg kick but Grigoriev checks it.
Grigoriev misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Grigoriev tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Silakka was well out of range. Poor timing from Grigoriev.
Silakka throws a nice inside leg kick.

Silakka lands a big head kick that sends Grigoriev tumbling to the mat! Silakka takes a step backwards and waves Grigoriev back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Grigoriev is rocked!

It looks like Nikolay Grigoriev has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A head kick by Silakka - that's a beauty! Grigoriev is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Silakka can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Simo Silakka!
