The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevens misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Kannegaard has Stevens up against the cage in a clinch.
Stevens is trying to break free.
Stevens is trying to stall.
Kannegaard lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Stevens.
Kannegaard lands an uppercut.
Kannegaard landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Kannegaard lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Stevens tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kannegaard smiles and moves away.

Kannegaard crunches a lovely knee into Stevens's ribcage.

Stevens has had enough of the clinch but Kannegaard keeps him there for the moment.

Kannegaard throws a head kick that half lands.
James Stevens seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kannegaard scoring well with a low kick there.
Good exchange - Kannegaard coming out on top.
Kannegaard lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Stevens is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kannegaard drops Stevens with a naaaaasty hook - Stevens is in real trouble here! Kannegaard dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
