The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Beebe has Offerson up against the cage in a clinch.
Beebe wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Offerson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Offerson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

and Offerson counters by moving into the clinch.
Offerson changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Beebe fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Beebe shoots in for a takedown but Offerson shows good takedown defense.
Offerson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Beebe sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Offerson somewhat.

Offerson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Beebe looking to sit in guard and control but Offerson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Beebe wants to stand but Offerson is controlling the position.

Beebe is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Offerson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Offerson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Beebe swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Beebe is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Offerson has his hands clasped together but Beebe extends an breaks Offerson's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Beebe.
