Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Richard Teixeira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Carpio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Teixeira comes to the cage accompanied by Lil Terror. Carpio has chosen Manic Hispanic as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Dave Carpio enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Alyssa Summers and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Teixeira shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Carpio eats them both and turns towards Teixeira to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Carpio does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Carpio lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Carpio takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Richard Teixeira opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
