Harris comes into the arena with Kevin Rudolf - In the City blaring out of the sound system. Lenny McDaniels has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Frank Harris's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lenny McDaniels!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McDaniels closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Harris to the mat! Harris manages to get full guard.

McDaniels has gone for a leg lock! Harris slips out almost immediately though and dives into McDaniels's guard.
Harris in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
McDaniels looking to hit a scissor sweep but Harris is one step ahead there.

McDaniels escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Harris gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Harris postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Harris got a little sloppy there for a moment and McDaniels has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Harris has managed to get both his arms back between McDaniels's legs - danger averted.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Harris postures up in McDaniels's guard and throws a big left but McDaniels blocks it.

Harris thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
McDaniels is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

McDaniels has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Harris can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Harris wants to control from the top but McDaniels keeps moving.

Harris drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but McDaniels manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Harris has McDaniels in his guard.
Harris is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Harris is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so McDaniels is just riding it out for now. Harris eventually gives up the hold.
McDaniels is trying to get back to full guard.

McDaniels is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Harris seems to be working for a kimura but McDaniels defends the submission attempt.

Harris lands strikes from half guard.

Harris is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and McDaniels defends it well.
Harris throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
McDaniels is looking for a sweep. Harris is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Harris has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
McDaniels trying to control but Harris postures up.
McDaniels is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Harris's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Harris's back!

McDaniels has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Harris! Can he survive? No! He's out! McDaniels gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
