The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nogueira decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Nogueira is looking for a kimura but Brownie is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Nogueira to get the leverage.
Nogueira seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Brownie does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Nogueira might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Brownie kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Brownie is looking to improve his position.
Nogueira is keen to just control but Brownie is a slippery customer.
