Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kenji Kang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dom Stansky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kenji Kang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dom Stansky!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stansky feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Stansky stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kang swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Stansky stands up over Kang, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Stansky advances position into side control!
Kang struggling a bit here.
Kang could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Kang tries to bench press Stansky off him but Stansky keeps the position.

Stansky tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Stansky has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Stansky is staying tight to Kang's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Kang tries to improve position but can't.
Kang gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Stansky biding his time, looking for the opening.

Stansky working for a choke but Kang is defending well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Stansky has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
Kang tries to escape but Stansky has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Stansky keeps control of the position easily here as Kang tries to buck him off.

Kang has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
Will Stansky go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

Let's hope that Stansky has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Stansky has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Stansky is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Kang has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Stansky is looking to control Kang but Kang is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Stansky is not going to allow Kang to sit and survive in this position.
Stansky controlling the position well here. Kang rolled but Stansky kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Stansky has got one arm under Kang's chin. This could be trouble... Kang trying to control the other hand but Stansky gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Kang has tapped out! The fight is over!
