Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cice Salace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oda Hattori (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Fujiwara and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice combination there by Hattori.
Hattori throws a head kick that misses.

Salace shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hattori manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Salace works over Hattori with some ground and pound from guard.
Salace connects with a couple of short punches.
Salace makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Salace is in close to Hattori's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Salace stops Hattori from standing up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Salace drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hattori manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Salace has Hattori in his guard.
Hattori must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Salace has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hattori can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Hattori has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Salace to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Hattori is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Salace pulls down on the head and he's put Hattori to sleep! This one is all over!

Cice Salace decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
