With a record of 6 - 1 - 1, fighting out of London, Jamie Anderton!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Steven Brown and James Ackerman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderton has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Abodo.
Abodo smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Abodo connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

It looks like Jamie Anderton has been cut.

Abodo looking to score a takedown here. Anderton is defending well but Abodo drives through and ends up in Anderton's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Anderton has Abodo pulled in close to control his posture.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Abodo wants to control from the top but Anderton keeps moving.

Anderton tries to stall but Abodo uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Anderton stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Abodo tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Abodo is trying to trip Anderton. He has hold of a leg but Anderton is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Abodo persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Abodo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Anderton swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hugo Abodo overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Abodo is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Anderton is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Anderton has escaped and now he's on top!

Abodo is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Abodo has his foot on Anderton's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Anderton works his way back into a safe position though.

Abodo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Anderton doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Anderton manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The fighters circle momentarily. Anderton darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Abodo misses with a takedown attempt - Anderton sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
