Mir kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Spoilin For A Fight . Fingers is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Cut Stoppage- This one will get finished. The key to victory for Frank Mir has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Fingers misses.
Four Middle Fingers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mir moves out of range as Fingers throws a body kick.
Mir jabs Fingers right on the nose. Fingers blinks but takes it well.

Fingers throws a lazy right hand but Mir sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

enabling Fingers to counter with a crisp jab.
Fingers steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mir.

and Fingers connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Fingers stuffs the takedown attempt from Mir. Mir gets slowly back to his feet.

Mir closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Fingers did well to prevent Mir getting side control.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Mir postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Fingers in real trouble here! The ref calls for Fingers to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Frank Mir spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
