Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sephiroth Cooper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tomasz Drwal!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Radbod Blank and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drwal throws a series of punches but Cooper moves out of range.

Cooper scores a takedown into full mount!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Cooper with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.
Cooper looking to control and managing it successfully.

Cooper is working for a guillotine from mount but Drwal frees his head quite easily.
Drwal is in all sorts of trouble here.

Cooper wants to finish this one by submission but Drwal is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Cooper.
Cooper mounts Drwal! Really nice guard pass there!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Drwal can do anything to dispel that myth.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Drwal tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Drwal tries to lock up and control but Cooper gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Drwal keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Cooper wants to finish this one by submission but Drwal is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Cooper.
Drwal really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cooper. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Cooper working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

Cooper goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Drwal is on top in guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Drwal wanted to stand there but Cooper had control of the position.

Cooper is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Drwal defends well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Drwal trying to control but Cooper is working from the bottom.

Cooper had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Drwal defends it easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Cooper is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Drwal defends well.
Drwal postures up.
Drwal throws a big right hand that misses.

Cooper throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Cooper will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Cooper has his foot on Drwal's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Drwal works his way back into a safe position though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Drwal tries to stand but Cooper is controlling from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Cooper working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Drwal doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Cooper is tightening it up a little... Drwal has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Drwal reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Drwal taps out! Nice BJJ there by Cooper!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Sephiroth Cooper!
An out of breath and clearly excited Sephiroth Cooper thanked Wolfpack Blood Labs for their help and support (and free stuff they sent him).
