Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between James Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bam Blimm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miller's entrance music is what what in the butt. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, James Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bam Blimm!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blimm gets a clinch.
Miller is trying to push Blimm away but Blimm has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Blimm connects with a knee to the head.
Miller wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Miller wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Blimm prevents Miller from breaking the clinch.
Blimm lands a body punch.
Miller wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Blimm has him pressed against the cage.
Miller is trying to drag Blimm to the mat but Blimm just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Blimm is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Blimm unloads a knee to the mid-section. Miller lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Miller is breathing heavily.
Blimm using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.

Blimm lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Blimm crunches a lovely knee into Miller's ribcage.

Blimm's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Blimm connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Miller to the floor! Blimm dives in looking for the finish!


Miller is rocked!


It looks like James Miller has been cut.
Blimm missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Oh Miller is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Blimm gets to his feet - back to striking we go!

That's one minute gone in the round.
A combination from Miller does no damage.

Blimm rushes Miller and presses him up against the cage.
Blimm using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.

Blimm's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Miller seems to have got his legs back now.

A head kick lands from Blimm that sends Miller to the canvas. Miller tries to scramble back to his feet but Blimm brings him back down into side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Miller wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Blimm remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Blimm stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Nice combo by Blimm! Oh, that's hurt him - Miller falls to the canvas and Blimm follows him into side control.
Miller is pushing Blimm's head away, looking to escape. Blimm manages to hold on to the position though.
Blimm working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Miller is being controlled here.
Blimm has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Miller!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Blimm controlling from the full mount.
Miller is trying to stand.
Blimm really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Miller. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Blimm takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Blimm's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Bam Blimm has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Blimm closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Miller has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Blimm is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.

Blimm manages to break the clinch.

Blimm clinches.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Miller is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Blimm lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bam Blimm dominated that round.
The cut man is working on James Miller's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Miller on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

Miller gets tackled into the cage by Blimm. Blimm maintains the clinch.
Blimm misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Miller.
Blimm slowing the pace effectively.
Blimm trying to land knees to the body.

Blimm pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Blimm and Miller goes tumbling to the canvas! Blimm follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Blimm stands up and beckons Miller to join him on the feet.
Bam Blimm seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Blimm clinches.
Blimm creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Miller's defenses.
Blimm avoiding damage.
Blimm lands a body punch in the clinch.
Blimm landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Blimm effectively controlling the action here.
Blimm works on Miller's body with a couple of short punches.
A bit of stalling here from Blimm.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Blimm throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Miller takes a knee right on the jaw!
Blimm lands a body punch in the clinch.

Blimm pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Blimm connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Miller tumbling to the canvas! Blimm pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Miller was done - good stoppage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Bam Blimm!
