Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bj Becks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bishop Deacon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Deacon is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: You Raise me Up by Josh Groban. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Alec Ball and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice combination there by Deacon.
Deacon swings widly with a right hand
and Becks decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Deacon's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Becks accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Becks has gone for a leg lock! Deacon slips out almost immediately though and dives into Becks's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Becks drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Deacon manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Becks has Deacon in his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Deacon is looking to stand up but Becks won't let him.

Becks tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Deacon paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Deacon defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Becks.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
A chopping leg kick lands by Becks.

and Becks counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Becks lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Deacon circles away quickly and effectively.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bj Becks dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Deacon tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Becks manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A slow jab from Deacon misses its intended target.
Deacon throws a looping overhand right but Becks ducks down to avoid it.
Deacon tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Becks rushes Deacon and presses him up against the cage.
Deacon swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Deacon prevents a takedown attempt there.
Becks is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Deacon can't fight it off and eventually Becks manages to take the fight to the floor. Deacon looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Deacon controls Becks momentarily but Becks frees himself.
Becks stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Deacon swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Becks postures up in Deacon's guard and throws a big left but Deacon blocks it.
