The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cruz pushes Carwin away with a front kick.
Cruz explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
A slapping leg kick lands for Cruz.
Cruz lands a head kick. Carwin smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Cruz throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Carwin.

Carwin dives in and grabs Cruz's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cruz pushes down on Carwin's head and hops out.

Cruz feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Carwin's calf.

Carwin shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Cruz but Cruz pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Carwin takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Cruz fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Carwin to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Carwin looks to clinch but Cruz throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Carwin taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
