Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Elmo Lupe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Oak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lupe comes into the arena with Going The Distance blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Robert Oak!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oak shoots in looking for a takedown but Lupe manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Oak's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Oak moves into the clinch.
Oak using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Lupe has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Lupe lands a right hand that snaps the head of Oak backwards.

Lupe pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Lupe fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Oak on the side of the head.
Oak avoids a punch combination nicely.
Oak tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Lupe manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Oak is looking to clinch but Lupe is avoiding it.
Lupe avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lupe defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Oak.
Lupe lands a nice shot to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lupe looks to land a combination but Oak avoids it well.
Lupe misses with a wild body shot.
Lupe thuds a left hand into Oak's body.
Oak closes the distance looking to clinch
and Lupe counters with a series of strikes. Oak will be more careful next time no doubt.

Oak dodges the punch combination from Lupe.
Lupe throws a left and a right that both miss

and Oak moves into the clinch.
Oak's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Oak pulls guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Oak is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Oak kicks Lupe off and gets to his feet.
Lupe lands a nice shot to the body.
Oak dodges the punch combination from Lupe.
Lupe scores with a hook to the body. Oak takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Oak looks gassed!
Lupe lands with an uppercut that bounces Oak off the cage and back into range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lupe jabs Oak to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Oak needs to keep his hands up - Lupe had a free shot at his head there.

Oak avoids a punch combination nicely.
Oak takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Lupe scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Oak is still on wobbly legs! Can Lupe finish him?
Oak fails to land the takedown.
Elmo Lupe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robert Oak.
Oak takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Oak seems to have recovered his senses.
Lupe fails to land with a series of punches.
Lupe throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
The fighters circle momentarily. Lupe darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Oak takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Lupe lands a nice looking body shot.

Oak takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Lupe keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Oak takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Lupe lands a big right hand that sends Oak crashing to the mat! Lupe stays standing though and waves Oak back to his feet!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
OH! Oak has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Lupe smells blood and charges in for the finish! Lupe unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Oak sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
