Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Borrum Someer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jason Morgan!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Aafke Stam.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morgan has a takedown stuffed.
Morgan circles away from the clinch attempt.

Someer gets a clinch.
Someer lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Someer jumps guard and drags Morgan to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Someer looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Morgan puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Someer wants to improve his position but Morgan is controlling well.
Well, if Morgan is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Someer wants to get back to full guard but Morgan has passed into side control.
Someer is looking for a sweep.

Morgan decides to stand back up. Morgan steps back and let's Someer get back to his feet.
Morgan swats away the attempt to clinch by Someer.

Morgan closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Someer to the mat! Someer manages to get full guard.
Morgan lands a couple of digs.
Morgan seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Someer is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Someer wants to improve his position but instead Morgan has moved into half guard.
Morgan controlling the action here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jason Morgan wasn't active enough on the ground.
Someer fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Someer is breathing heavily.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Morgan.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Morgan stands up.
Someer fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Morgan avoids it really well and circles away.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Someer displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Morgan.
Morgan shoots in looking for a takedown. Someer tries to sprawl out of it but Morgan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Someer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Borrum Someer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Morgan.
Morgan swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Morgan shoots in but no luck this time.
Someer shoots in looking for a takedown but Morgan manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Someer's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Some bone on bone action there as Someer checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Someer leaves Morgan with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Someer stuffs the takedown.

No luck for Someer with that takedown attempt.
Borrum Someer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Morgan shoots in and bounces Someer off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Someer might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Morgan drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Morgan as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Someer screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Morgan! Nice submission victory there!
