The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kirijenko takes a swing at Skank's ribcage but misses.
Skank looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Kirijenko shoots in but no luck this time.
Skank swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Kirijenko on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Skank. Skank obviously looking to wear him down.
Skank moves away from the strike by Kirijenko.
Skank looks to score with a jab to the body but Kirijenko is just out of range.
A slapping leg kick lands for Skank.
Kirijenko shoots for a double leg takedown but Skank sprawls well. He's pushed Kirijenko's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kirijenko tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Skank was well out of range. Poor timing from Kirijenko.
Kirijenko swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Skank misses with a head kick.
Kirijenko is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Skank.
Kirijenko looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Skank is fending him off so far but Kirijenko persists. Nope, Skank circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lyov Kirijenko. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Skank uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kirijenko.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kirijenko moves out of range of the leg kick from Skank.
Lyov Kirijenko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kirijenko shoots in for a takedown but Skank shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Skank lands a big head kick that sends Kirijenko tumbling to the mat! Skank takes a step backwards and waves Kirijenko back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Lyov Kirijenko has been cut.
Skank slaps away a takedown attempt from Kirijenko, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Oh Kirijenko is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kirijenko is breathing heavily.
Skank lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Skank fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Billy Skank is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Skank dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kirijenko. That did some damage!
Kirijenko seems to have got his legs back now.
Skank bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Skank connects with a leg kick. Kirijenko looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Skank seems to be stalking Kirijenko here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Kirijenko drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
