Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Paul Bradley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ed Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bradley comes to the cage accompanied by Rule Britannia. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Paul Bradley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ed Ryan!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Dean Styles and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryan walks into a stiff left hand from Bradley.
Bradley keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Nice sprawl there from Bradley as Ryan shoots in.
Ryan has his takedown stuffed
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Ryan gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Bradley counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Paul Bradley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ed Ryan.
Ryan with a poor takedown
and Bradley counters with a two punch combo.
Bradley connects with a nice looking jab.
Ryan takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bradley clobbers Ryan with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Ryan fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bradley avoids it really well and circles away.
Paul Bradley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bradley connects with a crisp jab.
Ryan closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Bradley bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Bradley tries for a kimura but Ryan is defending well.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bradley trying to control the position but Ryan is working away.
Ryan tries to bench press Bradley off him but Bradley keeps the position.
Bradley wants to control but Ryan is keeping him busy.
Bradley is really struggling to control Ryan but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Ryan regains half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bradley wants to pass the guard but Ryan is defending well.
Ryan works his way to full guard. Good work.
Bradley trying to control the position from guard on top but Ryan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Ryan looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bradley is one step ahead there.
Bradley trying to control but Ryan is working from the bottom.
Bradley wanted to stand there but Ryan had control of the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bradley advances position into side control!
A lull in the action here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bradley has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Ryan!
Bradley tries to control but Ryan wriggling away.
Ryan sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Ryan is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Bradley is looking to take a break and control but Ryan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Bradley looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Bradley is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Ryan is in trouble now - Bradley has advanced to mount!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bradley controlling from the full mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Paul Bradley dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!


Ryan tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bradley sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ryan somewhat.
Ryan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bradley but Bradley pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Bradley throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bradley lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Nice takedown defense from Bradley. No joy for Ryan on that attempt.
Paul Bradley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ed Ryan.
Bradley lands with an uppercut that bounces Ryan off the cage and back into range.
Bradley scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Ryan dives in and grabs Bradley's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bradley pushes down on Ryan's head and hops out.
Ryan doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Bradley counters with a nice leg kick.
Bradley lands with a right hand.
Ryan is trying desperately to land a takedown but Bradley is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Ryan.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nice takedown defense from Bradley. No joy for Ryan on that attempt.
Bradley is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Paul Bradley is winning the standup battle so far.
Ryan takes one to the chin there.
Bradley wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Ryan is breathing heavily.
Ryan takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Ryan has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Bradley.
Ryan gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Ryan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A decent looking cross lands there for Bradley.


Ryan is rocked!

Ryan is still on wobbly legs! Can Bradley finish him?
Bradley connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Ryan tumbling to the canvas! Bradley pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Ryan was done - good stoppage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Paul Bradley!
