Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Berikk Berikk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Al Inkotatoy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Inkotatoy has chosen i love the way you lie as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Al Inkotatoy!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Reed Andrews and Columbo Gatti.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berikk dives in and grabs Inkotatoy's left leg, looking for a takedown. Inkotatoy pushes down on Berikk's head and hops out.
Berikk wants to clinch.
Decent striking displayed by Inkotatoy there.
Berikk lands a lovely overhand right.
Berikk Berikk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Inkotatoy misses the jab.
Inkotatoy rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Berikk counters with a single leg into guard. Inkotatoy didn't expect that.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Berikk accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Berikk drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Inkotatoy dives on top into guard.
Berikk wants to stand and escape but Inkotatoy is having none of it.
Berikk is pulling down on Inkotatoy's head to control his posture.

We're going to have a standup here because Berikk Berikk wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Inkotatoy throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Berikk counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Inkotatoy's guard now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Berikk stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Berikk fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Inkotatoy sprawls well initially but Berikk persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Berikk uses his free foot to push down on Inkotatoy's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Inkotatoy.

Berikk goes for an armbar but Inkotatoy turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Inkotatoy.

Berikk uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Inkotatoy cracks Berikk with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Berikk shoots in but no luck this time.

Berikk gets a takedown into half guard.

Inkotatoy looks gassed!
Berikk is looking to advance position but Inkotatoy won't allow it.
Berikk works his way into side control.
Inkotatoy is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Inkotatoy parries the strikes from Berikk easily there. Berikk is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Inkotatoy to escape.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Berikk advances to mount.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Berikk.
Berikk sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Inkotatoy is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Berikk is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Inkotatoy has escaped the position, nice work there.

Berikk tries to advance to mount but can't.

Inkotatoy is breathing heavily.
Inkotatoy is not content to let Berikk control the position.
Berikk misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Berikk lands a few punches from side control.

Inkotatoy takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Berikk connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Inkotatoy some visible discomfort.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Berikk throws a strike aimed at the side of Inkotatoy's head but Inkotatoy avoids it well.
Berikk has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Berikk is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Inkotatoy is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Berikk Berikk opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
